We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Process Technology & Plant Design Engineering Assistant - Remote within our Syngenta Biologicals team. This role is a vital part of our Global Operations team, where you will contribute to our mission of creating a sustainable future for people and nature. What You'll Do

  • Support the analysis of production bottlenecks, manufacturing costs, and critical points in existing plants.
  • Assist in monitoring plant processes for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Collect and organize production data to support optimization of productivity, quality, safety, and environmental parameters.
  • Prepare data and information for Production Coordinators/Managers for periodic reports and budget analysis.
  • Support the coordination of production and maintenance planning activities.
  • Collaborate with the Global Research department in the development of new products and processes.
  • Assist in the compilation of technical documentation: Scope of Work (SOW), Process Books, and Design Engineering documents in collaboration with engineering companies.
  • Participate in global industrial projects as a support team member.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Chemical/Manufacturing Industry.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in complex environments.
  • Basic project management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
