Payroll Leader - Remote Opportunity at Heineken

About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Leader to join our team at Heineken. This Payroll Leader remote position is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for Heineken Mexico. You will play a key role in compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations, while also driving operational excellence and digital transformation within our payroll processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end payroll process including weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls.
• Ensure accurate calculations of salaries, bonuses, variable compensation, and severance payments.
• Oversee payroll closures and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with the Federal Labor Law (LFT) and other regulations.
• Optimize payroll systems (SAP / ERP) and drive automation initiatives.
• Develop and mentor the payroll team, defining KPIs and SLAs for service delivery.
• Act as a key contact for HR Business Partners and Finance teams.
• Manage internal and external audits related to payroll processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in payroll management.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Solid experience in high-volume payroll management and team leadership.
• Knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and tax obligations.
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
