Part-Time Restaurant Assistant - Sundays at Haskins Garden Centres

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Restaurant Assistant - Remote to join our team at Haskins Garden Centres. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about customer service and want to contribute to a family-owned, award-winning business. As a Restaurant Assistant, you will work every Sunday for 6.5 hours, providing excellent service to our customers while gaining valuable experience in the food and beverage industry.

What You'll Do

• Assist in serving food and beverages at the restaurant counters.
• Prepare and serve both chilled and hot drinks to customers.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Provide counter service and barista support as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, barista, or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain proactive.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing within the role.
• Self-motivated and hardworking attitude.
