Midweight Graphic Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Midweight Graphic Designer remote position at MUBI. As a global streaming service dedicated to elevating great cinema, MUBI is looking for a talented designer to join our creative team. You will collaborate with a passionate group of individuals to make great cinema accessible to everyone, everywhere.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Senior Designers to develop and execute compelling creative solutions that promote MUBI’s curated film programming.
• Create film posters for theatrical and digital releases, including social media assets and print advertising.
• Shape visual identities for film festivals, events, and partnerships, contributing to promotional materials and merchandise.
• Work closely with Creative, Marketing, Programming, and Distribution teams to interpret briefs and deliver impactful designs.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
• Proactively explore new ideas to enhance MUBI’s visual brand identity.
• Contribute to the creative process by providing innovative design solutions.
• Ensure all designs meet high standards of quality and consistency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual strength and high-quality execution.
• Excellent typography and layout skills, with confidence in branding and visual systems.
• Strong art direction instincts and the ability to visualize ideas quickly.
• An inventive and thoughtful mindset, willing to explore beyond the obvious solutions.
• Impeccable attention to detail and production readiness.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Motion graphics experience is a plus, but not required.
