About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Full Stack Engineer remote position at New York Technology Partners. This role is fully remote, but candidates must be located in the EST time zone. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will leverage your skills in Python and React to build and maintain high-performance applications that meet the needs of our clients in the financial services sector.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js, focusing on component architecture, hooks, and state management.
  • Build backend services with Python and FastAPI, integrating with relational databases such as SQL Server.
  • Implement cloud solutions, preferably AWS, and utilize DevSecOps practices including CI/CD for production deployments.
  • Optimize application performance across the stack and ensure that the code is modular and maintainable.
  • Write unit and integration tests following TDD principles to ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects in financial services or investment management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience with React.js and Python.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, and production deployments.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, testing, and modular code design.
  • Experience in financial services or investment management is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with additional frameworks or languages.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
