About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior AWS Java Full Stack Developer to join our team at Smart IT Frame LLC. This role is based in Reston, VA, and Dallas, TX, and offers a competitive salary of $115K annually. As an AWS Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing robust applications using AWS technologies and Java frameworks. This position is onsite only, providing an excellent opportunity for collaboration and innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop scalable applications using AWS services, Core Java, and Spring frameworks.
  • Implement microservices architecture to enhance application performance and maintainability.
  • Utilize Angular and Spring Boot for front-end and back-end development.
  • Integrate applications with various services using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Leverage AWS tools such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation for serverless deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to enhance team skills.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of programming experience, with a strong focus on Java, J2EE, and web services.
  • Proven expertise in AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, SQS, and SNS.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with application integrations and data transfers.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Ability to work in distributed application environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS Code Build, Code Commit, and Code Pipeline.
  • Knowledge of YAML and AWS CLI.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
