Mid-Senior Automotive IT Manager - Relocation Support

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive IT Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain. This Automotive IT Manager remote position offers the chance to lead IT operations and support within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT systems while providing exceptional support to our users.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations and provide technical support to ensure smooth office systems.
  • Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for end users, including managing laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Support and maintain the local IT infrastructure, including LAN/Wi-Fi networks and basic network security.
  • Implement and follow company IT and information security policies to ensure data security.
  • Coordinate with local IT service providers and assist with IT contracts and service level monitoring.
  • Continuously improve IT support processes and service quality.
  • Assist with system upgrades, configuration changes, testing, and user training.
  • Manage IT assets, including equipment setup, allocation, maintenance, and lifecycle tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, email systems, VPN, and endpoint management tools.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and business-fluent in English.

  • Exposure to enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, or CRM systems.
