What You'll Do
- Utilize infrastructure as code (Terraform) to build and maintain complex production and analytics workflows, including networking and containerized services.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve faults in system services as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation focused on actionable alerting and eliminating toil.
- Enhance delivery speed by developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure leveraging Terraform, Python, and TypeScript.
- Improve system availability, security, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
- Estimate work, prioritize tasks, track dependencies, report progress, and highlight blockers.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, advocate for SRE best practices, and stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the systems infrastructure that supports our mission.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
