What You'll Do

  • Utilize infrastructure as code (Terraform) to build and maintain complex production and analytics workflows, including networking and containerized services.
  • Rapidly diagnose and resolve faults in system services as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation focused on actionable alerting and eliminating toil.
  • Enhance delivery speed by developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure leveraging Terraform, Python, and TypeScript.
  • Improve system availability, security, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • Estimate work, prioritize tasks, track dependencies, report progress, and highlight blockers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, advocate for SRE best practices, and stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the systems infrastructure that supports our mission.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Python, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
