Mid DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity at EveryMatrix

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mid DevOps Engineer to join our team at EveryMatrix. This Mid DevOps Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading B2B SaaS provider in the iGaming industry. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, contributing to our mission of delivering innovative solutions to our clients.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Linux-based production systems and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Operate Kafka and other messaging/streaming systems.
• Set up monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployments and system stability.
• Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 2 - 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or system engineering.
• Strong Linux/Unix and networking knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes.
• Understanding of database administration and backup strategies.
• Experience with Kafka or other message brokers.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK).
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-availability or 24/7 systems.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty and occasional standby work.
