Member of Information & Security - Remote
About the Role
Join Anchorage Digital as a Member of Information & Security, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our security protocols and ensuring the safety of our clients' digital assets. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our mission from anywhere in the United States.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage cybersecurity risk assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design and implement internal controls to safeguard our information security program.
- Compile and analyze reporting metrics to enhance our security posture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive the long-term strategy of the Information Security Team.
- Identify and evaluate risks to our Information Security Program, developing controls to mitigate operational risks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in information security or IT risk management.
- Expert knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and SOC 1/2.
- Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech or startup environments.
- Background as an information systems auditor or consultant.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and cryptography.

Who Will Succeed Here
Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks and a proven ability to implement security controls effectively in a cloud environment, particularly using AWS or Azure.
Proactive mindset with a strong focus on risk management and the ability to conduct thorough cybersecurity risk assessments while working independently in a fully remote setting.
Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 1/2 audits, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to developing and documenting security policies and procedures.
