About the Role

Syensqo is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Leader to drive continuous improvement processes within our site. This Manufacturing Excellence Leader remote position is pivotal in optimizing safety, quality, and productivity while collaborating with a diverse team. What You'll Do

  • Define and deploy ME projects and tools, tracking results effectively.
  • Develop project statements for each ME initiative and appoint project teams.
  • Conduct ME audits and sustainability checks.
  • Steer and monitor manufacturing performance data collection and analysis.
  • Manage ME improvement projects in collaboration with GBU or Site ME teams.
  • Follow up on project KPIs and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Ensure liaison with other Operational Excellence initiatives across sites.
  • Track ME results and performance for your designated perimeter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a manufacturing or engineering leadership role.
  • Demonstrated history of successful team leadership and problem-solving.
  • Clear understanding of Lean principles with proven results.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with significant outcomes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing excellence tools and operational metrics.
  • Strong communication and planning skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-making processes.

Nice to Have

  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies.
