About the Role

We are seeking a talented Manager of Product Design to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Manager, Product Design - Remote, you will lead a team of designers to create innovative and user-centered design solutions that enhance our product offerings. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and ensuring that our designs align with business goals and user needs.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Develop and implement design strategies that align with product goals and user needs.
• Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to create cohesive product experiences.
• Utilize user research and data analysis to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Manage design systems and ensure consistency across all product interfaces.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in product design and user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on user-centered design principles.
• Proven experience in managing design teams and leading design projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work across various platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze data and user feedback to drive design improvements.
• Experience with front-end technologies like React and NextJS is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in K-12 education or related fields.
• Knowledge of design management and leadership principles.
• Familiarity with 3D design tools and techniques.
