Legal Trainee - Remote Internship at Flora Food Group

About the Role

Join Flora Food Group as a Legal Trainee (Remote) and become an integral part of our Legal & Compliance team. This opportunity allows you to engage with complex legal issues while working in a leading FMCG company. As a Legal Trainee, you will support key business areas and gain valuable insights into the legal landscape of the DACH and Nordics regions.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal consulting for business stakeholders, addressing complex issues in food law, competition law, data protection, and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Regulatory department on labeling and advertising claims.
• Offer legal support on strategically relevant topics along our production and supply chains.
• Draft, review, and comment on contracts to ensure compliance and protect company interests.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on national and European legal issues.
• Coordinate with external law firms on national and international levels for comprehensive legal support.
• Participate in corporate-wide projects related to governance and process optimization.
• Prepare legal opinions and presentations for management and project teams.

Requirements

• Fluency in both German and English is essential; international experience or an LL.M. is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and high legal quality awareness.
• Independent, structured, and responsible work style.
• High level of engagement, discretion, and professionalism.
• Very good MS Office skills and a keen interest in Legal Tech.

Nice to Have

• Experience in legal consulting or internships in a corporate legal environment.
• Familiarity with the FMCG industry and its regulatory challenges.
