About the Role

We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable, and experienced Kitchen Porter to join the team at LAVO, our vibrant, high-energy Italian restaurant at The BoTree in the heart of London. As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service. This Kitchen Porter role offers you the chance to support the chefs and wider kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, ensuring equipment and workspaces are ready for service, and helping the team operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist chefs in food preparation and kitchen tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and ready for use.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, hands-on attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a growing business.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Italian cuisine.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
