About the Role

We’re hiring a Linux Engineer (Junior to Senior Level) to join our expanding team in the banking and financial services sector. This Linux Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with critical payment systems and cloud technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and support Linux-based payment applications (RHEL) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform production support, root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions to ensure system reliability.
  • Monitor system health and ensure high availability of applications.
  • Collaborate with business squads and technical teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Participate in Agile delivery, CI/CD improvements, and process optimizations.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in Linux (RHEL) and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with REST API integration, Java, or container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience in production support or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is preferred.
  • Banking/payment system experience is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Open to junior through senior candidates.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with monitoring tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in financial services.
