Junior Network Engineer - Remote Position in Germany

About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior Network Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. This Junior Network Engineer role is perfect for candidates who are eager to design, maintain, and optimize network infrastructures while working from the comfort of their homes in Germany.

What You'll Do

• Design, configure, and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely, effective resolutions.
• Ensure best practices in network security, compliance, and redundancy.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams on network-related projects.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Support network-related aspects of IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• 0–4+ years of relevant experience in network administration or engineering.
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured working style.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English and based in Germany with legal authorization to work full-time.
