About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior-Mid-Level Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote environment. As a Network Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance. This position is perfect for candidates who are passionate about troubleshooting network issues and improving system efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design, configure, and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability.
• Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely, effective resolutions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure best practices in network security, compliance, and redundancy are followed.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams on network-related projects to achieve organizational goals.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures for future reference.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and implementations to keep our systems up-to-date.
• Support network-related aspects of IT projects and initiatives, contributing to overall project success.

Requirements

• 0–4+ years of relevant experience in network administration, network engineering, or related IT roles.
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address network issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured working style for efficient task management.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, demonstrating self-motivation.
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
• Based in Germany with legal authorization to work full-time.
