Junior Environmental and Sustainability Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Environmental and Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Anas S.p.A. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Chief Operating Officer in designing sustainable road infrastructures. As a Junior Environmental and Sustainability Specialist, you will engage in various activities focused on environmental impact assessments and sustainability analyses.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the design of road infrastructures with a focus on environmental aspects and sustainability analyses.
• Conduct environmental impact studies, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and ecological evaluations.
• Support technical activities related to project approval and compliance with sustainability protocols.
• Analyze environmental data using GIS technologies and simulation models.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure sustainable practices in infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Biological Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in sustainable design and environmental planning, particularly in linear transport infrastructures.
• Familiarity with sustainability protocols applicable to linear infrastructures.
• Basic knowledge of environmental legislation in Italy and Europe, including D.Lgs. 152/2006.
• Proficiency in CAD and GIS software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in sustainability protocols and environmental assessments (VIA/VAS/VIncA).
• Experience with LCA software (e.g., SimaPro, OpenLCA).
• Knowledge of BIM modeling tools and relevant regulations.
