About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Junior Audio Programmer to join our dynamic team at Techland S.A. This Junior Audio Programmer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative audio systems for our renowned video games. You will collaborate closely with the audio and engine teams to design, implement, and optimize audio game systems and features.

What You'll Do

• Work with the audio team to design and implement engaging audio features for our games.
• Collaborate with the engine team to extend and optimize audio pipelines.
• Develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality in audio implementation.
• Create implementation plans and time estimates for tasks related to audio programming.
• Support and instruct audio designers on utilizing our tools effectively.
• Adhere to team coding standards and best practices in all programming tasks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for your work.

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of C++ programming.
• Understanding of multi-threaded programming concepts.
• Good math skills and a solid understanding of sound implementation in games.
• Ability to read and comprehend existing codebases.
• Proactivity and initiative to solve problems independently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Good command of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with WWise or FMOD middleware.
