About the Role

We're hiring a Java Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at BeaconFire Inc. This Java Full-Stack Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative software solutions while collaborating with a talented team. As a Java Full-Stack Developer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining web applications that power our clients' platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Develop software and web applications using Java 8/J2EE/Java EE, React.js, Angular2+, SQL, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code that enhances our clients' platforms.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests to ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with testers to understand defects and resolve them promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
  • Work effectively with team members to achieve shared user story and sprint goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or C#.
  • Basic programming skills using object-oriented programming (OOP) languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of common APIs and data structures like Collections, Maps, Lists, and Sets.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and basic SQL query language skills.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science (CS).
  • 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding.
  • Experience with Spring, Maven, Angular frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of contemporary Java technologies (e.g., Weblogic, RabbitMQ, Tomcat).
  • Familiarity with JSP, J2EE, and JDBC.
