About the Role

GFN GmbH is seeking an IT Trainer for Fachinformatiker - Remote to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to conduct IT trainings in various fields according to the IHK curriculum. As an IT Trainer, you will have the chance to teach topics such as software project management, programming, web development, and database design. This position allows for both online and in-person training formats, providing flexibility and the ability to reach a diverse audience.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct engaging IT training sessions for Fachinformatiker students, focusing on practical applications and real-world scenarios.
  • Develop and implement training materials that align with the IHK curriculum.
  • Collaborate with other trainers to enhance training programs and share best practices.
  • Provide support for subject-specific and methodological-didactical questions.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.
  • Network with other trainers to contribute to new training concepts.
  • Ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
  • Manage both freelance and permanent teaching opportunities based on your availability.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT or a comparable degree.
  • Willingness to obtain training qualification certification (AEVO).
  • Teaching experience in adult education, preferably in funded education.
  • Current vendor certifications (e.g., OCA Java SE 8) are a plus.
  • Experience in programming and a passion for teaching.
