Interior Design Intern - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
LaBella Associates is excited to announce an opportunity for an Interior Design Intern remote position. This role is perfect for students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design who are eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with experienced designers and contribute to various design projects, enhancing your skills in the design process.
What You'll Do
- Assist in creating drawings and specifications for design projects.
- Utilize your intermediate skills to develop graphics for presentations and proposals.
- Participate in visualization exercises to enhance project presentations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, both in writing and verbally.
- Manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver assignments on time.
- Accompany project leaders to client meetings and presentations, gaining insight into client interactions.
- Maintain the material library and organize visits from manufacturers’ sales representatives.
- Assist with sample returns and other logistical tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Interior Design from an accredited university.
- Desire to learn and work alongside experienced Interior Designers.
- Excellent sketching and modeling skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D Max.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Previous internship experience in a design studio.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
