Interior Design Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

LaBella Associates is excited to announce an opportunity for an Interior Design Intern remote position. This role is perfect for students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design who are eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with experienced designers and contribute to various design projects, enhancing your skills in the design process.

What You'll Do

• Assist in creating drawings and specifications for design projects.
• Utilize your intermediate skills to develop graphics for presentations and proposals.
• Participate in visualization exercises to enhance project presentations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients, both in writing and verbally.
• Manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver assignments on time.
• Accompany project leaders to client meetings and presentations, gaining insight into client interactions.
• Maintain the material library and organize visits from manufacturers’ sales representatives.
• Assist with sample returns and other logistical tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Interior Design from an accredited university.
• Desire to learn and work alongside experienced Interior Designers.
• Excellent sketching and modeling skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D Max.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in a design studio.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
• Basic understanding of project management principles.
