Injury Prevention Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in promoting a safe and healthy workplace, focusing on injury prevention initiatives and supporting site health programs. You will play a crucial role in managing work-related injuries and overseeing Return to Work and Injury Management processes.

What You'll Do

• Provide personnel with advice on how to prevent injuries in the workplace, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and job analysis to educate staff on injury prevention.
• Deliver physiotherapy treatment services for work-related injuries.
• Coordinate site Health and Hygiene initiatives.
• Assist Nurses with Return to Work and Injury Management processes.
• Compile injury statistic reports for the HSES and site leadership team.
• Maintain physiotherapy stock inventory and ensure its relevance.
• Develop and deliver Health and Wellness initiatives on site.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy (AHPRA Registered).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Injury Prevention Coordination.
• Understanding and experience in rehabilitation and return to work programs.
• At least 3 years of clinical physiotherapy experience in the mining/resource industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP is highly regarded.
