HSE Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join Geberit, a leader in the manufacturing industry, in a remote capacity. As an HSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards of our operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety concepts, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in HSE and a passion for fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

What You'll Do

• Plan and develop the company's safety concept, regularly updating it to meet current standards.
• Ensure compliance with the DUERP (Unique Document for Risk Assessment) and support internal communication regarding safety and health protection.
• Conduct risk assessments and document safety inspections, reporting findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage incidents and accidents according to legal regulations and group directives, including analysis and reporting.
• Advise on ergonomic principles in workstation design and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
• Act as the primary contact for external organizations (DREAL, SPSTI, DREETS) regarding HSE matters.
• Lead audits and monitor environmental issues within the organization.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance among employees, promoting teamwork and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HSE or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage others in safety culture.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken) for regular interactions with group teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SAP.
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
• Curiosity and a proactive approach to suggesting improvements.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 standards.
• Additional certifications in HSE management.
