Global Benefits Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We're hiring a Global Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team at AlphaSense, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our employee benefits programs across the globe. This Global Benefits Specialist position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with various teams to ensure our benefits align with both local regulations and our organizational goals.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including insurance plans, time off policies, wellness initiatives, and other non-salary compensation for your primary and backup countries.
- Maintain compliance with local labor laws and regulations, ensuring our practices are up to date and effective.
- Provide guidance to employees on benefits and address inquiries or concerns, fostering a supportive environment.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of benefit services, enhancing the employee experience.
- Assist in global benefits harmonization efforts and the sharing and creation of best practices across regions.
- Support benefits-related updates or enhancements in Workday and other systems, leveraging technology for efficiency.
- Draft, maintain, and optimize process and policy documentation related to benefits, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
- Manage benefits invoice reconciliation in collaboration with our Finance team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with annual benefit renewal and enrollment processes and the implementation of new programs, contributing to our growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources, with 2-3 years of global benefits-specific experience.
- Proficiency in using Workday for benefits management is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws in EMEA; familiarity with US and/or APAC regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adjust messaging based on audience and employee needs.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel for auditing and analyzing data with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, capable of organizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.
