About the Role

Join our team as a Full-Stack Software Engineer (remote) focused on AI Developer Tools. At Alan, we're building a vertically integrated health partner that combines insurance and smart healthcare delivery into a seamless system. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating member-centric healthcare experiences.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain internal platforms, frameworks, and libraries that enhance developer workflows.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure that the tools we build meet the needs of both engineers and non-engineers.
• Utilize Python/Flask, React, and PostgreSQL to create robust applications.
• Contribute to the development of AI-native engineering tools, including agent orchestration and autonomous testing infrastructure.
• Participate in daily deployments and embrace a culture of distributed ownership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering roles.
• Strong background in building internal platforms and improving developer workflows.
• Experience with LLM APIs and AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French is not required.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for enabling others.
