Full Stack Engineer - High-Performance Trading Systems

About the Role

We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer for High-Performance Trading Systems to join our innovative team at Foxtek. This Full Stack Engineer role offers the chance to build scalable backend systems that power a global trading platform used at serious scale. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work closely with a small, senior engineering team, contributing to a culture that values engineering excellence and real impact.

What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services and internal systems that are crucial for our trading operations.
• Work primarily with Erlang, Elixir, Java, and TypeScript in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate effectively with frontend and product teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Review frontend code from external teams to maintain high-quality standards.
• Own features end-to-end, from conception to production, ensuring they meet our performance standards.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, ideally in a mid-senior capacity.
• Experience with Erlang, Elixir, Java, or TypeScript is essential.
• Familiarity with React and comfortable building admin tools/internal platforms.
• Experience working in small teams, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
• A strong ability to communicate your thought process and explore alternatives.

• Experience building or maintaining personal projects that showcase your skills.
• A passion for learning through experimentation and curiosity.
• Ability to clearly articulate the development process of projects you've completed.
