What You'll Do

  • Implement UI designs to create an intuitive user experience for managing cryptocurrency assets.
  • Review other developers’ UI code to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
  • Implement automated UI tests to validate that your features work as expected.
  • Collaborate with Backend engineers to propose and review GraphQL API changes.
  • Work closely with Product managers and designers to brainstorm and align on new design changes.
  • Influence architecture and product roadmap decisions, having a seat at the table.
  • Foster a deterministic testing culture, minimizing tech debt and bureaucracy.
  • Ship code that impacts the global economy while balancing speed and quality.

Requirements

  • Real-world experience building web applications/UI from scratch.
  • Mastery of at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., React.js, Angular.js, Vue.js).
  • Strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure.
  • Prioritize end-user experience and business value over “cool tech.”
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Self-describe as creative, humble, ambitious, detail-oriented, hardworking, trustworthy, eager to learn, methodical, action-oriented, and tenacious.

Nice to Have

  • Production experience with web security.
  • Experience building a Chrome extension.
  • Interest in blockchain protocols and staying updated with crypto innovations.
  • Background in the finance industry.
  • Passion for the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system.
