What You'll Do
- Assist in software requirements analysis, design, development, software testing, integration, installation, and maintenance of complex computer systems.
- Develop and update web applications using HTML5/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and JSON technologies.
- Interface databases to client-side interfaces and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Provide second-level engineering support and troubleshoot software applications in Linux environments.
- Participate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetings to support program and team objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field with at least 30 semester hours in mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in software development, particularly in front-end technologies.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the Angular framework.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems (RHEL).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, Docker, GitLab, and OpenShift.
- Experience with API integration and automated unit tests (e.g., Selenium).
- Familiarity with Java Messaging Service (JMS), RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
