About the Role

Apply Digital is seeking a Freelance Email Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will assist with increasing workloads and work on various email production projects for top-tier marketing platforms. As a Freelance Email Developer, you will produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring compliance with clients' standards and email marketing best practices.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with email developers and customer success managers to deliver high-quality email campaigns.
• Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize workload and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Test email messages for proper formats using tools like Litmus to guarantee optimal performance.
• Work directly with clients to field requests and collaborate on tasks, ensuring their needs are met.
• Implement programs inside various platforms using mock API calls to enhance functionality.
• Utilize your mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email to create responsive and visually appealing templates.
• Leverage your proficiency with JSON and understanding of API calls to streamline processes.
• Provide feedback and make adjustments based on client input and testing results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of email production and development experience is required.
• Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email is essential.
• Proficiency with JSON and understanding of making GET and POST API calls.
• Strong communication skills with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
• Experience with email code structure and responsiveness.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, or similar.
• Knowledge of Liquid or Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA is a plus.
• Proficiency with design tools like Photoshop and Figma.
