About the Role

Join us as an ERC Manager in a remote capacity at Brussels Airport, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of emergency response services. As an ERC Manager, you will lead the Emergency Response Center (ERC) operations, ensuring the highest standards in emergency service management.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and streamline all processes and systems related to the ERC, ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks.
  • Supervise all ERC operators functionally and serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for stakeholders.
  • Manage all digital systems related to Fire and Emergency Services (FES) and oversee alerts at the Airport Operations Center (APOC).
  • Act as the Product Owner for all digital systems within FES, collaborating with IT colleagues for updates and adaptations.
  • Design and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training programs for ERC operators.
  • Conduct project management tasks and provide guidance on ERC-related projects.
  • Oversee budget management for ERC operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical or IT fields.
  • 5-10 years of experience in emergency response or dispatch environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ERC processes and compliance with legislation.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English, and French (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience in project delivery within scope and budget.
  • Solid IT expertise, including testing and troubleshooting of FrontForce systems.
  • Experience with GDPR compliance and data management.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of firefighting systems.
  • Experience in conducting audits and optimizing processes.
  • Familiarity with automation projects and system integrations.
