About the Role

We're hiring an Entry-Level Full Stack Engineer to join BeaconFire Inc., a company specializing in software development and business intelligence. This remote position focuses on Java and JavaScript technologies, allowing you to grow your skills while working on exciting projects.

What You'll Do

  • Develop applications using Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, React.js, SQL, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Write scalable, secure, and maintainable code that powers our clients’ platforms.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests.
  • Collaborate with testers to understand defects and resolve them promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and technologies for architectural review.
  • Work effectively with team members to achieve shared user story and sprint goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in programming languages Java and JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) languages and knowledge of common APIs and data structures.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and basic SQL query skills.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science (CS).
  • 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding.
  • Experience with Spring, Maven, Angular frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with contemporary Java technologies (e.g., Weblogic, RabbitMQ, Tomcat).
  • Knowledge of JSP, J2EE, and JDBC.
