Enterprise Account Executive - State and Local (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Enterprise Account Executive - State and Local (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Databricks. In this role, you will focus on selling to State and Local accounts, utilizing a solution-based approach to drive innovation and growth. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will meet with CIOs and IT executives to drive sales, close new and existing accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction while promoting Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with CIOs and IT executives to drive sales and build relationships.
  • Close new and existing accounts while managing complex sales cycles.
  • Identify quick wins and prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets consistently.
  • Track customer details and interactions in Salesforce.
  • Utilize solution-based selling techniques to create customer value.
  • Promote Databricks' innovative Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Build success plans both internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience, particularly in State and Local government sectors.
  • Experience in an early-stage company and field sales experience in big data, Cloud, or SaaS.
  • Prior relationships with decision-makers in relevant sectors.
  • Ability to articulate complex cloud technologies effectively.
  • Proven success in closing new accounts while managing existing ones.
  • Understanding of Spark and big data is preferred.
  • A passion for cloud technologies and innovation.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
