Engineering Manager - Operations Platform (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for Operations Platform to join Chainlink Labs in a fully remote capacity. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented group of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining the Chainlink Deployments Platform, which empowers product engineering teams with standardized deployment and operational management capabilities. This role is critical as the Chainlink ecosystem continues to grow, and you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and security of our networks.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Software and SRE engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Drive the ongoing development and improvement of the Operations Platform, including cross-chain contract deployment and configuration.
• Define operational standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and efficiency in deployments and operations.
• Partner closely with product, infrastructure, and data platform teams to solve integration challenges and streamline standardized data flows.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration by providing transparent documentation, intuitive self-service tooling, and proactive support for product engineering teams.
• Champion best practices in reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability across the Operations Platform team.
• Manage team productivity and project delivery through effective planning, clear communication, and agile methodologies.
• Recruit, onboard, and grow top engineering talent, enhancing both the team’s capabilities and the overall organizational culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams focused on deployment frameworks, automation, and operational tooling.
• Experience in building and leading teams responsible for mission-critical tooling and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of secure contract management and multisig operations in decentralized environments.
• Demonstrated ability to define and implement operational standards and self-service tooling effectively.
• Experience collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A servant-leadership approach that empowers teams to achieve excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving technologies.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience in blockchain technologies or related Web3 infrastructure.
• Technical expertise in distributed systems architecture and cross-chain integration.
