About the Role

At Anchorage Digital, we are building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto. We are seeking an Engineering Manager - Atlas (Remote) to lead a critical engineering team at the intersection of crypto innovation and institutional-grade infrastructure. In this role, you will own the technical vision and execution for Atlas while developing a high-performing team that ships impactful software at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of engineers, driving broad expertise and knowledge across engineering domains to achieve Anchorage's technical objectives.
  • Manage complex, ambiguous problems, demonstrating the ability to achieve innovative breakthroughs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with product, business, and engineering leadership to shape what we build and how we build it, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Own the technical output of the team, including product and platform features, impacting Anchorage's long-term success.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly across diverse audiences, adapting your strategy to persuade stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant engineering experience with significant experience leading and scaling engineering teams.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing medium to large teams, delivering results of significant scope and impact.
  • Experience leading through ambiguity and translating business strategy into actionable plans.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to articulate clear strategy and influence stakeholders.
  • Real-world experience building complex distributed systems, with a focus on languages like Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Solidity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in crypto, blockchain, or fintech infrastructure at scale.
  • Background in the finance industry and traditional finance settlement operations.
  • Ability to conduct live technical programming interviews and review pull requests.
