At Vadis, we are seeking an Employment Consultant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will help individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment while supporting businesses and communities in becoming more inclusive. What You'll Do

  • Support clients in identifying and achieving employment goals through person-centered planning.
  • Build strong relationships with employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Coach clients in work readiness, social, and self-advocacy skills.
  • Facilitate referrals, intakes, and vocational assessments.
  • Support job starts with on-site training for clients and employers.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, funders, and community partners.

Requirements

  • Ability and desire to work respectfully with people with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals from various backgrounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Personal use of a vehicle with proper insurance coverage.
  • Driver’s license with a favorable driving record.
  • Ability to pass initial and ongoing criminal background checks.

  • Full salary range for this position is $26.50 - $31.25 per hour, with opportunities for growth over time.

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends based on client needs. Please note, this is not a remote position.
