About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EES Program Manager - Decarbonization to join Puget Sound Energy's innovative team. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to build a clean energy future. You will manage multiple programs within our Decarbonization Portfolio, focusing on empowering low-income customers, small businesses, and commercial clients to make informed energy choices.

What You'll Do

  • Manage sizable customer-facing programs with complex scopes and substantial budgets.
  • Implement electrification upgrades, including heat pumps and water heaters, while overseeing grant program deployment.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to drive program design and innovation.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Participate in program planning exercises, including goal setting, budget planning, and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead marketing and outreach campaigns to enhance customer participation.
  • Provide training and development for team members to support program objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management or coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, budget, and risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the utility industry or with HVAC/electrification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and public engagement.
  • Knowledge of environmental justice and equity considerations in program design.

Nice to Have

  • Industry certifications such as BPI, CEM, LEED, or PMP.
  • Experience in fast-paced regulatory environments.
  • Background in community outreach or public engagement.
