DevOps Strategy & Culture Lead - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Strategy & Culture Lead to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will drive the evolution and maturity of DevOps practices across our organization and client environments. You will define and lead the DevOps strategy aligned with business goals, driving cultural transformation and DevOps maturity across teams.

What You'll Do

  • Assess current capabilities and build clear improvement roadmaps for DevOps practices.
  • Provide architectural and technical guidance on cloud and platform practices.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to turn business needs into actionable DevOps initiatives.
  • Implement DevOps culture in enterprise environments with measurable maturity improvements.
  • Lead and mentor DevOps or platform teams to enhance their capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing DevOps culture in enterprise environments.
  • Leadership or mentorship experience within DevOps or platform teams.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
  • Solid knowledge of container orchestration and health management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing and operating Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
  • Familiarity with DevOps maturity frameworks (DORA, CALMS).
  • Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CKA).
  • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
