About the Role

Tailscale is seeking a passionate Developer Advocate (Video) to join our team. This is a full-time remote position based in the UK, where you will play a crucial role in promoting our innovative solutions through engaging video content. As a Developer Advocate (Video), you'll have the opportunity to connect with developers and showcase how Tailscale can simplify networking for teams around the globe.

What You'll Do

• Create compelling video content that highlights Tailscale's features and benefits.
• Engage with the developer community through webinars, tutorials, and live streams.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand new features and translate them into user-friendly content.
• Gather feedback from users to continuously improve our video resources and community engagement.
• Participate in developer conferences and events to represent Tailscale and share your expertise.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a developer advocacy or technical content creation role.
• Strong video production skills, including scripting, filming, and editing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and Tailscale's technology is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Experience with live streaming platforms and community engagement.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Go or Python.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment.
