Corporate Finance M&A Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Corporate Finance M&A Intern to join our dynamic team at Forvis Mazars. This remote opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in the corporate finance sector, particularly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). As a Corporate Finance M&A Intern, you will work closely with a team of professionals dedicated to providing top-notch financial advisory services.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the entire M&A process, including screening potential buyers and targets, preparing pitch materials, and conducting financial analysis.
• Participate in the preparation of financial valuations using various methodologies such as DCF and market multiples.
• Support the execution of transactions by managing data rooms and assisting in negotiations.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze market trends and prepare sector studies.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing insights and updates throughout the transaction process.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree from a prestigious business or engineering school with a specialization in Finance.
• Previous internship experience in M&A boutiques, investment banks, or corporate finance teams is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Interest in the economic and financial landscape, particularly in M&A activities.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Experience in preparing client presentations and financial reports.
• Knowledge of the M&A process and related documentation.
