About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - Remote to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a CPC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate coding and billing for medical services. What You'll Do

• Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies.
• Provide coding education and support to clinical staff and fellow coders.
• Stay updated on coding changes and industry trends to maintain coding accuracy.

Requirements

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and insurance terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and coding software.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with podiatry coding.
• Knowledge of medical billing processes.
• Previous tutoring or training experience in coding.
