Care Navigator - Remote Position in Healthcare

What You'll Do

• Assist patients in navigating healthcare services and resources effectively.
• Provide telephone support and guidance to patients regarding their healthcare options.
• Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.

• Support patients with billing inquiries and claim submissions.
• Advocate for patients’ needs and ensure they have access to necessary services.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure patient satisfaction and care continuity.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in healthcare navigation or related field.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and electronic health records.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in patient advocacy and care coordination.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and billing is preferred.
