Business Analyst - Remote EdTech Platform
About the Role
SkillAnthem is seeking a talented Business Analyst - Remote to join our expanding EdTech platform in India. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions, contributing to our mission of enhancing learner engagement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with product, tech, and data teams to support solution design and implementation.
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve business performance.
- Define and track business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new initiatives.
- Support data-driven decision-making through analysis and insights.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution validation.
- Document business processes, requirements, and best practices.
- Stay updated with business analysis methodologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or similar roles.
- Ability to work with data, reports, and dashboards to derive insights.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment.
- Interest in education, learning, or mentorship-driven platforms.
