About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Axle Assembly and Component Development Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for leading axle assembly tasks and component development in the Chassis Team, ensuring that all processes adhere to Mercedes-Benz Development standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead axle assembly tasks, coordinating with RD HQ, suppliers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Oversee the development of axle components, ensuring alignment with Mercedes-Benz Development System.
  • Conduct technical discussions and project meetings with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Release technical requirements, including 3D models and 2D drawings, to suppliers.
  • Evaluate testing results and provide suspension component/system release based on Mercedes-Benz requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of chassis technology and engineering principles.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
  • High commitment to quality and premium vehicles.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese and German is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Overseas study or work experience in automotive engineering.
  • Experience with CAx tools, particularly Siemens NX.
  • Intercultural competence and strong communication skills.
