Assistant Manager (Marketing & Engagement) - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (Marketing & Engagement) to join our team remotely. In this role, you will focus on supporting SMEs and startups through innovative marketing strategies and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess creativity, collaboration skills, and a future-focused vision to enhance HKPC’s strengths in SME and startup support.
What You'll Do
- Identify and address the needs of SMEs through regular interactions with local, GBA, and global associations and stakeholders.
- Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to manage high-impact industry-wide programs and projects.
- Plan, develop, and implement marketing activities, including seminars, exhibitions, online platforms, and flagship events.
- Manage event logistics, procurement, vendor management, and post-event reporting.
- Utilize digital marketing, PR, and social media management to enhance engagement.
- Create compelling marketing materials and client-facing documents, showcasing strong copywriting skills in both Chinese and English.
- Handle additional tasks to support the overall mission of HKPC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Management, Marketing Communications, Social Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in B2B client management, industry support, or event management.
- Strong leadership, business acumen, and project management skills.
- Sound relationships with various industries, trade associations, and public bodies.
- Experience or knowledge in ESG or sustainability is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI and Generative AI tools is preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Nice to Have
- Agency or trade association experience.
- Knowledge of IoT, 5G, LoRA, and AI technologies.
