Allocation Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Allocation Specialist to join our team at Kings River Packing. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while supporting our Allocation Team through order distribution, inventory monitoring, and cross-functional coordination across multiple packinghouses. As an Allocation Specialist remote, you will play a crucial role in managing daily allocation activities, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.

What You'll Do

• Track shed allocations against targets and assign orders accordingly.
• Collaborate with the Allocation Team, Sales, and Operations to align order distribution with company goals.
• Prepare, maintain, and update daily allocation reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Communicate updates, instructions, and confirmations to sheds and Dispatch to ensure timely execution.
• Partner with Sales to clarify customer requirements, specifications, and priorities.
• Act as a liaison between Sales and packing sheds.
• Direct product transfers between packing facilities.
• Identify and escalate order-related issues to the Allocation Manager when necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• Experience in supply chain, order processing, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency, accountability, adaptability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional overtime and on-call rotation as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the agriculture or food production industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
