AI Solutions Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As an AI Solutions Architect remote position, you will play a critical role in modernizing and standardizing our Azure and Databricks platforms, focusing on governance, performance tuning, and FinOps/cost optimization. This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in Machine Learning and AI, offering the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Modernize and standardize the company’s Azure and Databricks platform.
  • Implement governance, performance tuning, and FinOps/cost optimization strategies.
  • Productionize three predictive-model applications currently in a sandbox environment.
  • Design separate environments, plan capacity (including GPUs), and establish uptime/SLAs.
  • Develop a repeatable rollout plan for applications.
  • Build an AI-ready data layer that supports both BI and predictive/ML workloads.
  • Architect solutions for multi-subsidiary growth, ensuring data privacy compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Azure and Databricks, including Delta Lake/Delta Live Tables.
  • Familiarity with Mosaic AI or similar GenAI tools.
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI and LLM.
  • Proficiency in Python or Spark, SQL.
  • Understanding of multi-tenant architecture with PII isolation and identity controls.
  • Knowledge of the medallion architecture (gold/silver/bronze).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar role within IT services and consulting.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
