About the Role

We are seeking an AI Platform Operations Engineer - Freelance Remote to join our innovative team at SPACE44. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and managing AI agents and multi-agent workflows, ensuring that our technology operates reliably in day-to-day operations. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to cutting-edge AI projects.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and manage AI agents and multi-agent workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
• Configure and enforce access control, permissions, and knowledge boundaries to maintain security standards.
• Maintain governance standards and audit trails to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Build and monitor observability through logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively address issues.
• Respond to incidents and manage failure modes, ensuring platform integrity across client environments.
• Support the rollout of new agents and controlled scaling to meet client needs.
• Document operational procedures and runbooks to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production operations, including DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong systems thinking and operational discipline with a focus on process-oriented approaches.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability.
• Solid understanding of access control and permissions management.
• Comfortable with incident response and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Process-oriented with strong documentation habits to maintain clear operational guidelines.
• Willingness to learn AI and RAG systems on the job to stay updated with industry trends.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
