AI Innovation Consultant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Innovation Consultant to join our team at Version 1. This remote opportunity allows you to help enterprise clients identify high-impact AI opportunities and guide them from concept to measurable business value. As an AI Innovation Consultant, you will blend business analysis, product thinking, and AI consultancy to turn ambitious AI goals into deliverable solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead workshops with clients and cross-functional teams to frame problems and ideate solutions.
• Convert insights into hypotheses and testable experiments to validate AI use cases.
• Own multi-stakeholder engagements and lead the execution of rapid prototypes or proofs-of-concept.
• Assess data readiness and propose AI patterns, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design feasible AI solutions.
• Build business cases and ROI models for AI initiatives, presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Identify high-risk uses of AI and recommend policy and technical controls.
• Coach junior team members and contribute reusable intellectual property for the practice.

Requirements

• Experience in consulting, business analysis, or technology-driven project roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex problems.
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experimentation with AI tools.
• Experience in building presentations and business cases.
• Confident communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable with workshop facilitation and project coordination.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and AI frameworks is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or active learning in AI/ML.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating quick proofs-of-concept using low-code tools.
• Exposure to Agile delivery and backlog management.
• Industry experience in financial services, government, or regulated sectors.
