3D Animator for Realistic Dog Model - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented 3D Animator to work on a realistic dog model for a gaming engine. This remote position offers you the opportunity to showcase your skills in 3D animation and model refinement. As a 3D Animator, you will be responsible for enhancing the dog model's features and creating lifelike animations that bring the character to life.

What You'll Do

• Redesign the dog model's face, focusing on expressive features such as cheeks and mouth corners to convey emotions.
• Add realistic fur textures and details to enhance the model's appearance.
• Implement structural changes, ensuring proper separation of body parts for animation.
• Create smooth tail animations, including wagging and twitching motions.
• Develop breathing animations that reflect realism during idle and movement states.
• Design emotional animations, such as curiosity and aggression, to enhance character interaction.
• Ensure interactive animations that respond to human presence, including sniffing and retreating behaviors.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure animations meet the project's artistic vision and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 3D Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• Experience with rigging and skinning techniques for character models.
• Ability to create high-quality textures and materials.
• Strong understanding of animation principles and character movement.
• Experience in game development and familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• 3+ years of experience in 3D animation and modeling.
